A private investment entity has purchased the former Kmart retail location at 5930 Earle Brown Drive in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, from Benderson Development Co. in a $6.5 million transaction.

The retail structure encompasses 118,000 square feet and dates back to its original 1971 construction. At the transaction’s closing, the property maintained only 10% occupancy and has been marketed as a redevelopment opportunity.

Situated on an 11.89-acre parcel, the site benefits from prominent positioning along Highway 100 adjacent to Interstate 694, providing substantial visibility and convenient access within a well-established retail corridor serving the greater Minneapolis metropolitan area.
